Take an introductory tour of Norfolk Island before enjoying a glass bottom boat cruise within the breathtaking azure lagoon of Emily and Slaughter Bays, revealing beautiful coral gardens. Following lunch, we will have an immersion in Norfolk Island’s rich cultural heritage and learn about the Islanders’ traditional methods of fishing, whaling, weaving, cooking and their service in conflict.
A unique experience tonight as we enjoy a progressive dinner, the perfect way to get a taste of the real Norfolk lifestyle.
Overnight: Governor’s Lodge
Visit to the World Heritage-Listed convict settlement of Kingston. Learn about the first Polynesian settlers who arrived on the island 900 years ago and gain further insight into the First and Second British settlements. We follow with a walk through the historic cemetery.
Enjoy lunch today at Two Chimneys Wines, Norfolk Island’s first and only winery. Following some time at leisure, we conclude the day with a traditional Island Fish Fry, a dinner not to be forgotten!

Explore the Pitcairn Settlers Village this morning to experience the proud history of these remarkable people. In 1856, Norfolk Island’s history changed forever. Descendants from the Tahiti and the HMS Bounty Mutineers, including Fletcher Christian, resettled on Norfolk from the Pitcairn Islands.
Indulge in a High Tea to remember on the lawns at Forrester Court overlooking picturesque Cascade Bay with all the trimmings one could wish for!
While tourism is Norfolk Island’s largest industry, it is by no means the only one. This afternoon, discover some of the enterprises that sustain the local community. These range from market gardening to sheep farming.
Overnight: Governor’s Lodge
A relaxed ramble through the National Park starts the day. Walking along the Bridle Track from Red Road to Captain Cook’s Memorial, our guide will help us identify local grasses, ferns, shrubs and trees as well as bird species.
Next, visit world-renowned author, Colleen McCullough’s house, home to the modern day literary icon for 36 years and learn about her love for Norfolk Island and her literary triumphs.
Following lunch, explore the fascinating historic Museums and World Heritage-listed buildings at Kingston including the restored home at 10 Quality Row. Here we explore Norfolk Island’s turbulent past along with today’s living culture. Tonight’s farewell dinner will be at the acclaimed Homestead Restaurant.
Overnight: Governor’s Lodge
This morning tour the Bounty Folk Museum, which showcases the four settlements on Norfolk Island. Following lunch, transfer to the airport for the flight to Sydney, where we say farewell to new friends and take away memories of an idyllic island Sojourn.

Level of Fitness Required – Easy Going
These journeys are not physically demanding unless you want them to be. They include easy-paced walks, which are on mainly flat ground. You must be able to walk up to 1 kilometre unaided and will not need any foreseen assistance throughout the journey. Participants will be required to walk up steps and inclines. For all clients to full enjoy this travel experience, good health and mobility is required by all.
