Join Bill Peach Journeys, the leader in small group luxury travel for over 40 years, for a breathtaking discovery of Australia’s remarkable Red Centre. Marvel at the immense scale of Uluru and Kata Tjuta up close, their mighty ancient majesty dwarfing each visitor. View the Field of Light illuminated art installation by internationally recognised artist Bruce Munro in the spiritual heart of Australia and enjoy the Sounds of Silence dinner experience under the Southern Desert Sky. Spend four nights at the multi award-winning Sails in the Desert Hotel, a decidedly luxurious outback experience.
Board your private aircraft for the never-to-be-forgotten day of spectacular ‘flight-seeing’ of the Red Centre which takes in Lake Amadeus, Kings Canyon, Gosses Bluff, the Western MacDonnell Ranges, Mt Conner and of course, the magnificent aerial sights of Uluru and Kata Tjuta as they rise impressively on the horizon. Enjoy a walk along the bottom of the Kings Canyon gorge on a comfortable trail that allows you to marvel at the two colossal canyon walls that appear in different hues of red and ochre and burn orange.
Be awed by the newly launched ground-breaking sound, light and drone show at Uluru, Wintjiri Wiru. Wintjiri Wiru, which in the local Pitjantjatjara language means ‘beautiful view out to the horizon’ is a breathtaking and award-winning sound and light show, which brings to life the ancient Mala story of the Anangu people, a story passed on for thousands of generations. With the use of ground-breaking technology, choreographed drones, lasers and projections illuminate the night sky. If you have ever been drawn to Australia’s heart, now is the time!
